After a five year break, The Killers have returned with their fifth album, Wonderful Wonderful. This is the longest gap we’ve seen between albums from the band. Their first three albums each came out two years apart, which may have actually hurt the group creatively. Day And Age felt like a pretty big misstep, so it was not necessarily a bad thing that they took four years to regroup after that album. And while Battle Born wasn’t necessarily embraced by many fans, I thought it was actually a strong return to form.
