We first met coffee shop troubadour Jason Mraz back in 2002 when “The Remedy” became a minor pop radio earworm. His earnest songwriting style and impressive musicianship earned him a sizable fan base early on, and I count myself among them.
Of course, his biggest hits were yet to come. “I’m Yours” in 2008 and “I Won’t Give Up” in 2012 essentially became templates for much of the music he’s come to release since.
