Previously, it was announced that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross would be providing the score for the new Ken Burns 10-part PBS documentary, The Vietnam War. Today, it has been revealed that the documentary will also have a soundtrack album as well. Both will be released on September 15.
The Vietnam War – Original Score will feature over 90 minutes of new music from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Unlike their last two scores (Patriots Day and Before The Flood), this music will actually have a CD release. (Note: The last two Nine Inch Nails EPs also skipped the CD format, although they are rumored to be released on disc eventually.) Here is the track list:
