Melancholy And The Infinite Sadness Of Phoebe Bridgers

I’ve blogged about my anticipation for the debut album from Phoebe Bridgers several times this year. When she released the first single, “Smoke Signals,” back in spring, I was captivated by it. I still am.

Subsequent singles, “Motion Sickness” and the powerful “Funeral,” proved there was more great music to come. My excitement was building. When it was announced that she’d be the opening act for Conor Oberst, and I already had tickets to the show… I was beyond thrilled.
