In 1987, INXS released not just one of the defining albums of their career, but also one of the defining albums of the decade. Kick was a huge hit, producing classic singles like “Need You Tonight,” “Never Tear Us Apart,” “New Sensation” and more. It was the band’s sixth album, but it was the one that finally catapulted them into the mainstream and turned Michael Hutchence into a rock star.
As the album hits its 30th anniversary, a new deluxe edition is set for release on November 3. Kick 30 will include the original album, as well as two more CDs of b-sides and remixes. There will also be a bluray included with a new surround sound mix of the album, as well as the promotional music videos.
