After a week of cryptic Tweets, it should come as no surprise to anyone that Lorde released a new song today. She’s been teasing a new album since last year, and while we don’t yet know the release date, we do know the title: Melodrama.
The first single sees Lorde continuing the color-theme from her last new song, “Yellow Flicker Beat,” which appeared on the 2014 soundtrack for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.” Here is “Green Light”:
Much of her new album was co-written and recorded with Jack Antonoff, better known as the guitarist from fun. than from his superior solo project, Bleachers. While you anxiously wait for more music from Lorde, why not spend some time in the Bleachers?
