Unquestionably, Tell Me How You Really Feel by Courtney Barnett is one of my most anticipated albums in a long time. Barnett’s debut album in 2015 simply blew me away, and I couldn’t wait to hear what she’d do next.
As it turns out, “next” happened to be a duet album with Kurt Vile. I’m sorry to say, that was an album that just… didn’t work for me.
Fortunately, fans didn’t have to wait long for Barnett’s true follow-up album. Does it live up to my high expectations?
