Coldplay Follow Up Chainsmokers Collaboration With New EP

When Coldplay released A Head Full of Dreams back in December 2015, there were many hints that it may be their last album. Coming only a year and a half after Ghost Stories, the album didn’t feel as fully baked as their previous efforts, and many fans wondered if the band had much left to say.

Well, reports of the death of Coldplay may have been slightly exaggerated. Last week, the band dropped a surprise single with The Chainsmokers. Today, they reveal that there is more new music where that came from with the official announcement of the upcoming EP Kaleidoscope.  Technically, the band announced the EP on Twitter back in November.

Now, three months later, we have the announcement of the release date: June 2.

Here’s the track list:

1. All I Can Think About Is You
2. Something Just Like This
3. Miracles 2
4. A L I E N S
5. Hypnotised

The band also shared the lyric video for one of the new tracks, “Hypnotised.”
